Moura State School offers a curriculum, which covers all Key Learning Areas across the Prep to Year Seven. An integrated curriculum is planned and implemented where possible. Student progress is reported to parents each semester, with written reports and face to face interviews conducted as parents and teachers identify a need or at reporting time. A major focus continues to be the integration of information and communication technologies within the curricula and the further improvement of Literacy and Numeracy skills through Teacher Aide support, voluntary helpers and an Intervention Program. An Intervention Program has been implemented to support those children identified through the continua and external testing data in Years 3, 5 and 7. A Key Teacher supports and advises classroom teachers and an Intervention Committee monitors implementation of this program.
