“Libraries are not a destination, they are our transportation to anywhere and everywhere!"
Moura State School boasts a spacious, modern and well-equipped library. Reading is one of the core priorities of our school and the library plays a vital role in the promotion and appreciation of reading and books. Students of Moura State School are able to access the library as part of their weekly routine and the centre is open in lunch hours a number of days per week.
During lunch, students are welcome to play board games or Lego, do some sketching, or find a quiet corner in which to read. Additionally, located within the library is the STIC – 'Science and Technology Room'. This room is equipped with computers and has facilities for students to take part in science experiments.
The library is a very important and valued asset of Moura State School.
"A good library will never be too neat or too dusty because somebody will always be in it, taking books off the shelves and staying up late and reading them!"
